Why I'm Impressed
Like most parents, I am very concerned with the safety of my children. I remember the good ol' days when I used to bounce on my neighbours tramp. Looking back, I can't believe how unprotected I was. My neighbour and I used to do what is commonly referred to as the "double bounce." This is where someone will create a mini jump right before the next jumper in order to create a bounce that is nearly twice as high.
I must of fallen off a trampoline over a dozen times throughout my life. And although I never experienced any major injuries. My neighbour nearly broke his arm one summer when I accidentally catapulted him off the tramp and onto the hard ground. He swears that he still feels discomfort in his right arm to this day.
The bottom line is that tramps can be an incredibly dangerous toy if the proper precautions are not taken. A trampoline net is the best 70 dollars that you can spend towards protecting your children. I know that my neighbour wishes he had spent 70 dollars to prevent his almost serious arm injury.
